Japanese Touring Car Championship
The All Japan Touring Car Championship (JTC from 1985-1993, JTCC from 1994-1998) was a former Japanese touring car racing series that operated under various international regulations like Group A and Super Touring, featuring both domestic and foreign vehicles. After its final season in 1998 and a subsequent failed relaunch attempt in 2012, the spirit of the championship was revived in 2019 with the introduction of the TCR Japan Touring Car Series, which adheres to TCR regulations.
