GT World Challenge America and Europe. GT World Challenge Europe, formerly known as the Blancpain GT Series, is a sports car racing series organized by SRO Motorsports Group featuring FIA GT3-regulated grand tourer cars derived from road models. The series is split into two distinct championships, the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, each holding five exclusive race weekends as of 2022. The GT World Challenge America is a North American auto racing series that was established in 1990 and now managed by the SRO Motorsports Group. It is sanctioned by the United States Auto Club and features four driver classifications and five classes of vehicles, including GT3, GT4, and Touring Car categories.
