Hobby Expo China cemented its status as one of the country’s premier annual events, drawing more than 100 event cars and a wide range of brands—from established names like Mini GT to emerging startups—showcasing upcoming releases.

Mini GT drew significant attention with the announcement of its Fast & Furious license. While no physical models were displayed, images from the original film, including the iconic Toyota Supra vs. Dodge Charger race scene, pointed to potential future releases. Mercedes models were also previewed, notably the M‑Class featured in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Despite the focus on licensed movie vehicles, Mini GT emphasized its broader approach, continuing to balance pop‑culture releases with standard versions, a strategy previously seen in its successful 007 lineup.

The show also highlighted new and expanding partnerships. Mini GT confirmed continued collaboration with AO Racing, including event‑exclusive Rexy and Roxy models, as well as a partnership with Gaha Racing that will bring additional BMW M4 GT3 variants. A custom Mini GT pickup—believed to be a Datsun—was also teased.

Packaging updates were announced alongside the product reveals, with redesigned blister packs aimed at easier opening while preserving the cards.

Rounding out the event, Kaido House unveiled three models: a Mercedes SL, a Nissan 400Z, and the long‑awaited hauler. Jun later commented and mentioned that some of these cars might be part of a new line called "Kaido Works."  These cars will be totally his own designs with no collaboration wtih OEMs.
