Bentley is known for its luxury land yachts and its rich (pun intended) racing history.  They know how to make heavy, fast.  To help celebrate its 100 years (back in 2019), they asked two-time King of the Mountain Rhys Millen to take a modified Bentley Continental GT up the 156-turn mountain course.

Rhys was able to do it in 10:18.488 with an average speed of 70mph.  The car was fitted with Bentley's W12 engine hooked up to a cat-less exhaust by Akrapovič.  The car also lost most of its leather, sound system, and other luxuries to accomplish lightness and after doing so, the car was still considered road legal.

To celebrate this occasion, Bentley created the 2020 Bentley Continental GT Pikes Peak Coupe.  With only 15 made, its a rare spec and comes equipped with items inspired by the car that ran the Pikes Peak.  The car is painted in a special color from Mulliner, Radium.  Some of the bodywork (painted over) is replaced with carbon fiber pieces, tires changed out for Pirelli P-Zeros with acid green brake calibers.  Finally, interior has Radium details throughout including a map of Pikes peak on the carbon fiber dash.

Diecast maker Mini GT recreated both the Pikes Peak version (MGT_00162) and the 15 production car version (MGT_00163).  Both cars have correct paint work and livery including 100 on its grill.  The radium paint work shows great on the models and bring to the brand two very unique Continental GTs.
